Depending on the size and scope of the project, products can be manufactured either in Asia, Mexico or the USA.

Apex Composites has partnerships with several manufacturing sites which are utilized for their specific strengths and enable customers to most effectively achieve their goals. These relationships are the result of working together over years to achieve and realize successful projects.
Asia
Several sites are used depending on the scope of the project and processes. Asian manufacturing is geared towards higher-volume, lower cost products, but because of our unique situation, Apex Composites can capitalize on this engineering and labor pool for just about any project outside of US military and defense projects. With a number of logistical transport opportunities, including ports in Shanghai and Hong Kong, this manufacturing opportunity enables customers to reach markets in Europe, Australia and the United States.
United States
Apex Composites has R&D and production capabilities in a 5,000sq/ft facility located in California. This site is typically used for the development of projects, including those in aerospace and defense, and small-scale manufacturing. However, products that have been developed in this facility can be transferred to any of the manufacturing sites for production.
Mexico
Apex Composites capitalizes on this location for painting, powder coating, assembly and other projects which benefit from the Maquiladora program or NAFTA. This site is also us as a distribution hub for products that are manufactured in one of our other facilities and then brought in for assembly. Its infrastructure and proximity to the United States make it an ideal choice.
